Garden Toast


Ingredients:

  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 1 baguette, 1 inch slices
  • Garnish : chive blossoms, garlic blossoms, or thyme
  • Extra virgin olive oil or honey for finishing
  • Flaky sea salt

Directions:

  1. Add the goat cheese to a food processor for a minute or simply whisk in a bowl until til smooth and voluminous. Set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan over medium high heat, and fry the bread until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. (Note: or skip this step and use a fresh baguette, another delicious option.)
  3. To serve, spread goat cheese on toasts and top with extra virgin olive oil, honey, or both. Finish with garnish of choice and flaky salt.
