Winter Hot Toddy
I am not a big whiskey drinker, but lately I have been loving a hot toddy! This version especially which is made with bourbon maple syrup. So quick to make and your guests are sure to enjoy. Option to make it a little spicy is to add some cinnamon and grated nutmeg!
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup, preferably Crown Bourbon Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- lemon slices, orange slices, and/or cinnamon sticks & nutmeg
Heat all ingredients except water in a heat resistant glass, then fill with hot water. Serve garnished with a lemon slice, if desired.
