Sunday Stroll

The heat wave was real in Southern California, so it called for cool, lightweight clothing on a stroll through Venice to dinner. We ended up at Tasting Kitchen, a great place to go for a drink or dinner. A cold cocktail was in order to survive the heat, so  ordered the Beach House made with tequila and lime over ice. It did the trick.

Weekend Ready

Grey skies have cleared up and the fourth of July is already here. Since moving here, my family has had a tradition of going to the Pacific Palisades Parade where skydivers descend upon the street to start it all off. My personal favorite part is the patriotic pups who march with their owners. Crowd pleaser.

Wine Tasting

What does one wear for a day of wine tasting? I have dubbed this outfit my summer uniform, as it has been heavily on rotation. This versatile white linen shirt can be tied a few different ways, but would look great over a bathing suit as well. I  have to mention these jeans by the brand AGOLDE that are aptly named the '90's jeans,' with a high waist and a loose, straight leg.
